Doctor Professor Ufknüffel is a renowned scientist and friend of animals and little children. So he steals their teddy bears. And brings them to life in his Mutation-Magnetron. Together with these 'Proefknuffels' (roughly translated as Test-teddies) he has but one goal: To answer children's Stupid Questions. No question is too foolish and the ensuing chaos is just their way of conducting sound scientific research. For these are the Proefknuffels, and they feel no pain* Among the cast we have playful one-eyed Gnürf, sociopath Dr. Andreas Voogel, even-tempered Maxi Megamuil and the ever so charming Victoria Varkenshaas. Keeping it all together is directing assistant Gino (intern) and Dr. Professor Ufknüffel's companion and soulmate Muisje.
