Living Samples (2018)

Living Samples is a web series centered around 6 characters with a difficult past that could affect their current lives in college. Rick, appears passive aggressive with a lot of anger built in. Nicole comes from a troubling upbringing and probably one of the few in her neighborhood to get into college. Leena is quirky and often misunderstood by everyone, there's something about her very special. Tommy is a suicide survivor who has made it his mission to help others. Paula is a single mom who is looking to be the best version of herself even if she doesn't know what that is. Simon is the most optimistic of them all, who feels grateful for having moved to the United States seeking a better future with his family. The tone of the series has a 90's after school special vibe which is refreshing in a world where web series concentrate more on going all out in production value rather than a strong storyline.
