After quitting her mundane retail job and proclaiming herself a "documentarian sociologist," Taylor sets off to capture and unpack the role of work in the lives of Americans. With the help of her friends, the support of Hollywood-insider Phil Morris and the encouragement of her new girlfriend, Taylor is just trying to manage her life as a work in progress.
