Morten (2019)

The series follows the Dutch ambitious politician Morten Mathijsen and his political party De Nieuwe Liberalen. Morten Mathijsen has a beautiful wife, three daughters, a successful career and a bright prospect as a politician. Aided by the unexpected meeting with former fellow student Evelien Bax, Morten Mathijsen seizes his opportunity to profile himself as a prime minister candidate. The discovery of an unpublished manuscript in the flooded basement of a publishing house leads the young cleaning lady Kelly de Nooijer on the trail of a traumatic event from the past.
