The first night is a bomb. He forgets the material, gets heckled, veritably dies on stage. But Jack does a show the very next night. And the next night. And the next night. People actually laugh. And the game is on. This is a show about the ups and downs of the comedy world from the perspective of an up and coming comic on a mission to complete 100 nights of stand up comedy. The show follows the full roller coaster: the bombs, the kills, the anguish, the high. It's all in there. Jack goes through each of the shows in as much detail as is necessary. The progression is broken up by episode-themed topics like "The Process" or "The Callback" ...or "the Rule of Three." Jack teaches you what he knows about comedy and talks to working comics to get their take on the subject of the day. He shares the lessons he learns on the road by reading the crowd and watching and talking to other comics, and interviewing venue owners to get their take on this strange business. And finally, you get to see the life a comedian lives - Being broke, struggling, and chasing the dream.
