The Star Games (1985)

A Weekly syndicated show involving athletic competitions (e.g. swimming, rowing, cycling, track, tennis, etc.) involving T.V. Celebrities grouped in teams of 3 men and 3 women each. The teams were made up of cast members of a specific show, or, sometimes a joint team from the cast of two shows (e.g. Fame&Givemeabreak). There were 3 teams per episode in a tournament format, with the top two teams advancing to the next round, culminating in a grand finale. Often it aired after midnight on a weekend. The biggest name competitors included: Linda Blair, Ted Knight, Dick Van Patten, Flip Wilson, Patty Davis, LaVar Burton and Desi Arnaz Jr.
