Glitter (1984)

Another series from Aaron Spelling, containing many guest-stars each week, that follows the formula used in other Spelling series, like "Love Boat" and "Hotel." This series' setting is GLITTER, a magazine. Every weeks two pairs of reports are sent to get the dirt on a story. Seen most often are Sam Dillon and Kate Simpson, and seen on an alternating basis are Pete Bozak and Jennifer Douglas, and Terry Randolph and Earl Tobin. Also thrown into the mix are Angels and Chip, respectively the magazine's receptionist and copy boy, who are dating. Also: magazine's photographer Clive, lonely gossip columnist Shelley, and Arthur Hardwick: the magazine's publisher--and (known to few) Kate's father.
