The Jack Docherty Show (1997)

A Channel 5 late-night magazine and light entertainment chat show hosted by Absolutely star, Jack Docherty. The show was filmed at London's Whitehall Theatre in Trafalgar from 1997, then later, The London Studios in Waterloo from 1998 to 1999. The programme features a light entertainment mixture of celebrity guests, live music, comedy and chat. It was the first ever late-night spin-off of the Channel 4 sketch show, Absolutely from 1989 and of course, it was also followed by a similar format to NBC's variety shows such as Late Night with David Letterman in the United States.
