Societetshuset (1963)

One early morning at Furusund, an elderly man is hit by a car at the edge of a pier and falls into the sea. Marianne, who witnesses the incident in a small rowing boat, recognizes the car very well, but who was the driver? At the police station in Norrtälje, Marianne begins to give an account of the incident, but regrets it before she even gives her full name. However, Assistant State Attorney Martin Dalin, who heard the interrogation, cannot let go of what he heard and takes his sailboat down to Furusund to investigate further in the case.
