After his wife's death, Vic De Doncker surprises his kids and in-laws by finding love again with a man, rich Emiel. Youngste son Francis, a bachelor dog walker, easily accepts Emiel, but bigot son-in-law Fernand keeps concocting 'conversion' schemes. Eldest son Jean-Paul and his wife are more preoccupied with his infertility, leading to ludicrous secret moves.
