Along four years between 1984 and 1988, La Bola de Cristal (The Crystal Ball) turned in one of the best exponents of the La Movida Madrileña (The Madrilenian Scene), and the place where singers of all genres and other kind of famous met. Created and directed by Lolo Rico, the show was composed by four different parts: the first was hosted by Isabel Bauza and it was titled "Los Electroduendes" (The Electrogoblins), where five puppets, four good (Maese Cámara, Maese Sonoro, Hada Truca and Hada Video) and one evil (Bruja Avería) live all kind of strange adventures and play their own songs; the second was hosted by singer Alaska and it was titled "El librovisor" (The Bookvisor), dedicated to the heroes of the Classic Greece and the Greek Myths, in addition that usually it was broadcast a music video of several big bands of the time; in the third was broadcast a series chapter from three classic TV shows, Our Gang (1922) (in the first and second season), The Munsters (1964) (third season) and Bewitched (1964) (four season); finally, the fourth part was a documentary for teens narrated by singer Javier Gurruchaga and it was simply titled "La cuarta parte" ("The Fourth Part"). Adding live performances, music videos, interviews, surrealist humor and giving good moral advises for children, the show is for its own right an unique case in the history of entertainment: a show for kids that respectfully it treated them as adults.
