La Quintrala (1986)

Catalina de Los Ríos y Lisperguer lived between 1600 and 1665 in Santiago de Chile, during La Colonia. She is said to have been a woman who possessed supernatural powers and had pacts with the devil. She was red-haired and dressed like a man. Everyone called her "La Quintrala", a nickname that was due to her reddish hair, which was associated with the fruit of that color of the tree called quintral.
