Students from the famed Heifetz violin class at USC perform masterworks including movements from the Brahms, Tchaikovsky, and Khachaturian concertos, Franck sonata and Bach unaccompanied sonatas/partitas, Bach double concerto, plus movements from Beethoven string quartets....all under the guidance of one Jascha Heifetz. Brooks Smith serves as piano accompanist. Also included is a parody done by Heifetz, an imitation of a horrible violinist who had auditioned for the class.
