Many scenes feature partial breast nudity with nipples obstructed by hair or arms. There are three scenes in which breasts and nipples are clearly visible (1-3 seconds each).

In R2, Shirley asks Lelouch if they should "do more than just kiss"

In R2, people are seen bathing in an Onsen, there is nothing bad shown however.

Kallen is in the shower while talking with Lelouch, who is standing outside the curtain. Her bare butt is visible in a few shots and, in an extremely brief shot, her nipples are visible.

Viletta is naked under a bed sheet. She sits up and the sheet falls down, revealing her breasts and nipples for about 3 seconds before she covers up.

In the first ending theme there is a brief pan-down shot of C.C. naked, covered slightly in blood. One of her breasts is shown with the nipple very briefly, as the image transitions to the next when it pans down to that revealing part. This image is shown again in clearer detail during a flashback scene in the final episode of season 1.

In a very dark, moonlit room, Nina masturbates on the corner of a table while looking at a photo of Princess Euphemia. A profile of her ecstatic face is seen shaking, eyes closed and mouth open.The darkness and lack of sound can make it unclear, at first, what exactly is happening. This scene only lasts a few seconds. There's no nudity. The camera only shows her face or full body in a wide angle. However, very briefly, her butt is in closeup on the left side of the screen while another character enters the room in the distance on the right side of the screen. She's wearing her school uniform and, from behind, her skirt looks to be pulled up and towards the front of her waist. The corner of the table also is stained, as if Nina "came" on the table while masturbating to Princess Euphemia.

A flashback shot where a woman's dead body is seen lying on top of her daughter is displayed occasionally throughout the series. The mother is covered in blood and bullet wounds in her body are clearly visible, although they are blacked out.

The violence in the show is not overly graphic and there is no dismemberment or gore. However, it can be very bloody, and the overall body count is extremely high, with several of the deaths involving citizens.

Set during an ongoing war, the show has both fantasy and real-world violence (mecha battles, guns, chemical warfare). Lelouch uses special powers to control other people, often making them commit deadly violence toward themselves or others. Combat is intense and graphic. Children and innocent citizens are killed off-screen; you can hear crying, followed by gunshots and silence.

A young man (using Geass) tells several men to kill themselves, and they all shoot themselves in the head.

There are many scenes in which people are gunned down by large mechanic robots, with some blood seen. There are also many mecha fights and the people operating them are sometimes killed (albeit bloodlessly).

Bastard, damn and ass are used somewhat frequently in the series. Shit is used a few times, but not as excessive as the previously mentioned cuss words

Characters use slurs to enforce prejudiced stereotypes like "simpleminded Eleven," "stench of these monkeys," "Brittania dog". There's some profanity like "ass/badass", "bastard", "hell", "damn" and "shit".

Damn and hell are used very infrequently. Language is not an issue in the series.

There is drug usage early in the first season by a small group of unimportant characters in a warehouse. It shows multiple people hallucinating while using the drug. The usage of drugs is viewed negatively, and that view is reinforced multiple times later in the series.

Some characters can be seen drinking or smoking.

One of the villains in the series is emotionally and mentally unhinged: He attempts to manipulate a teenage girl into killing herself and another boy, he kidnaps a young girl and threatens to kill her, and he harbors a creepy obsession towards a young woman (at one point offering to make her "compact" in a suitcase with a chainsaw). His overall character can come off as unsettling to some.

If this series were to be rated by the MPA it would be PG-13 for strong violent content, sci-fi violence/action, bloody images, suggestive material, nudity and brief language.

Some characters behave callously throughout, keeping in tone with the show's cold atmosphere.

Some of the character deaths can be emotional.
