A song by Hank is called "Mules are So Half-Ass", and another of his songs, "Ulcerative Colitis" uses the word "shit" a few times, both songs use these words as puns.

Some of Hank's songs contain profanity, such as "I Fucking Love Science," which is on Hankschannel. There is the use of the word pussy a few times, also, because Hank was called one.

In Evening of Awesome, Kimya Dawson uses the word "shit" and "asshole" a few times.

There is a video explaining the use of curse words, and Hank says them very frequently. All of them are censored.
