Khichdi (2002)

Tulsidas Parekh, forever in an angry mood, is the patriarch of a family that is far more feared in Mumbai's circles than criminal syndicates. In fact, not even the police have the will to deal with them, thanks to Tulsidas' exceptionally-stupid elder son Praful and his equally-stupid wife Hansa, gossip-obsessed widowed daughter-in-law Jayshree, and Hansa's similarly-foolish caterer brother Himanshu. Tulsidas' only respite are his intelligent grandchildren, Jayshree's son Jackie and Praful and Hansa's daughter Chakki. The madcap family sets out on bizarre adventures in each episode, always resulting in hilarious chaos.
