Le Zapping (1989)

The most striking images from the previous day's television programs are shown in a square on a black background. The average length of the program is five minutes and represents a barometer of social, media and political life. Its originality lies in the fact that, despite the absence of commentary, the program is nonetheless tinged with opinion: the selection of the various sequences is subjective, and the editing, the way they are linked together, makes it possible to make comparisons between them, in order to underline their absurdity, for example.
