Sharp Objects (2018)

Fresh from a brief stay at a psych hospital, reporter Camille Preaker returns to her tiny hometown to cover the murders of two preteen girls. Reunited with her neurotic mother and an enigmatic half-sister in their Victorian mansion, Camille identifies with the victims too strongly. Haunted by her own demons, she must unravel her past to get the story and survive this unsettling homecoming.
