Gabrielle 'Gabby' Lawson has just inherited Luisa's Hacienda, a traditional Mexican restaurant in the heart of San Antonio, TX. The restaurant is an unexpected inheritance from her former neighbor and Godmother, Isabella Ortega. Excited about the opportunity but unsure if she should set her dream of becoming a successful comedienne on the shelf. Gabby is torn but she wants to continue Mrs. Ortega's legacy; and things only become more complicated when she also inherits the restaurant's debt.
