Fresh from prison, Ron Taylor is excited to reinvent himself and fully embrace his second chance at life. He quickly makes his dream a reality, debuting a state-sponsored cooking show that specializes in allegedly delicious recipes he concocted in the joint. Caught up in the excitement of trying to become a famous chef, reality hits Ron hard each episode as he starts to question if the public is really ready to fully digest the finest food the penitentiary has to offer...and more importantly, to give a man with a record a fair chance.
