Awkwardly begins and ends in an Astoria liquor store, connecting twenty New Yorkers in perfectly pocket-sized episodes, and revealing its mighty, quirky heart. From pity parties, to date night surprises, to strange encounters, every endearingly awkward moment is framed by the whimsical music of Emmy-nominated composer, Scooter Pietsch. Proudly directed by women, this ensemble series flows from sweet to silly, to absurd, to poignant because we do. Because life does. We're all connected - Awkwardly.
