Jaxon Moore has a struggling arcade bar. With the business being overloaded in debt, and facing possible shutdown this holiday season. He gets the unsettling news that his estranged sister Tina, who at a time was becoming a famous singing artist has unexpectedly died in a car accident. He is contacted in being the closest known living relative to take legal guardianship of her daughter Harmony, or she will be placed in foster care. Her father left and abandoned Tina when she was pregnant to further pursue his own music career. Tina had a trust fund set up for Harmony in case anything happens to her in which she would have access to when she's grown or would be left in charge with whoever her guardian is. Jaxon wants to now take in Harmony in hopes to use some of the money to help keep the business afloat, while her father comes back in the scene wanting to file custody so he can obtain the money and revamp his music career. Harmony just wants her mother back, because nothing was more important to them both than being together during the holidays and doing what they did best, and that's sing.
