Novo Fado & Autre Romaces (1997)

This film explores the new trends of Fado, an emblematic musical practice of Portugal. Many young artists who have recently appeared on the Portuguese scene are inspired by tradition, but also seek to renew this music. They bring influences from Europe and the rest of the world, they transform it and try to forge a specific musical identity.
