This Land of Mine (2024)

A team from a local non-governmental organization set off on a humanitarian mission to a remote indigenous settlement. Led by Elizabeth along with Radhi, the team comprises Amir, a videographer, to record their journey, and Ronni, the boat driver. After a mishap forces them to abandon plans, they stumble upon a cul-de-sac which leads them to discover a journal telling of a lost expedition years before. Elizabeth grows attached to the writings of the journal writer and his quest to find a rare herb, 'Sang Raja Herb'. When their boat suffers irreparable damage leaving them stranded in the jungle, they have no choice but to venture in, following clues left in the journal pages. Slowly, Amir grows increasingly driven by the idea of bringing back the herb to enrich himself. Cautiously navigating through the dense jungle, soon they are hunted by a prehistoric beast that protects the herb and learn the true motives of the previous expedition before them.
