Efrain is 9 years old and headed to America after his father was murdered by local cartel gangs for his watch and wallet. When his family is apprehended crossing the border Efrain escapes and heads into the woods. His perilous journey is documented from a lost child fending for himself against wild animals and Mother Nature, into becoming the notorious American Coyote.
