For many in America, the racial divide remains a considerable obstacle to progress in housing, education, health care, policing, and many other facets of American life. This one hour public television documentary explores many of those issues in Milwaukee, Wisconsin when the city was just a generation removed from the one of the most significant years in the Civil Rights Movement. In 1998, Milwaukee ranked as the 7th most segregated large urban area in America. It also ranked among the most impoverished cities in the country.
