Like You

Like You is an aching and sensual coming-of-age story set in Salida, Colorado: a small town on the Arkansas River shielded by 14,000 ft mountains. One night, Smith sneaks out of his house to meet an urbane older man named Mateo, and the two begin a summer affair that dreamily flows out of sequence like a murky watercolor memory. As Mateo's truck traces the map of Salida, Smith recalls their first hug and anticipates their goodbye, the sentimental impermanence of love multiplied by a new outlook on the town he calls home.
