The "peaceful" end of apartheid might be forgiven for forgetting that it was preceded by a struggle to the death between the white powers and South Africa's anti-racist activists. In March 1960, Nelson Mandela decided to launch an armed struggle, creating with Joe Sloco the uMkhonto we Sizwe (MK for short) movement. Through the testimonies of the men and women who gave their all to the struggle, this film brings to life the years of guerrilla warfare waged by the youth of the MK.
