Sami doma (2022)

One-time visit turned into a party, the party turned into a flatshare. Filmmaker and musician Jan Foukal and Albert Romanutti, frontman of Bert and Friends and a striking figure of the Czech music scene become main characters of the first Czech bromance. Jan has just rented a flat to sort out his family situation. The Covid 19 pandemics robbed Albert of his musical gigs and he has just broken up with his girlfriend. While some people were writing their lockdown diaries, these two boys used their unique openness, creativity and an omnipresent Handcam and shot a feature romance about a male friendship. The virus that shut the world down became their chance to discover the joy of life. On a ground plan of 38 square meters they created a film enriched with a great amount of humor as well as brand new songs. Welcome to their home.
