Sorteper - det kan du selv vaere (1980)

The daily lives of teens Carl and Hanne connect illness and poverty. In 1880, 1895, 1914, 1921, 1934, 1945, 1950, 1969, and 1975 different 14-year-old boys named Carl (all played by Karl Quist Moller) enter a long-term health facility where they must face the difficulties of their illnesses, as well as the doctors, nurses, tutors, and other young patients. During those same years, working teen Hanne (all played by Susse Brodersen) juggles family commitments with the need of a social life. In 1880 and 1975, Hanne works at the hospital where Carl is a patient.
