La Lettera U (Manoscritto d'un Pazzo) (2021)

A man, locked up in an undefined place, tells us his story and how all the misfortunes of his life (and of the world!) depend - on the letter U, a cursed vowel. Starting from the 1869 text by Igino Ugo Tarchetti and conceived by alternating shots with fragments of old silent films and newsreels, "La Lettera U" becomes the story-chronicle of a psychosis, the poignant metaphor of a society and a culture ready to to brand individuality as alienation.
