Tucker's War (2022)

Harriet is an ambitious lawyer with all the possibilities in front of her when she is recruited by a mysterious government agent to begin the ground work for undoing some of America's most long-standing oppressive institutions including the incarceration system which has snatched away her brother Natty. Her tenure is drawing to a close as we unravel the journey Harriet has taken from naive law school graduate to experienced lobbyist. Along the way are many hiccups including a love life in shambles, a substance habit bordering on addiction and a sweet little girl about to get swept up in the same systems Harriet is passionately fighting against. Harriet is every black woman, fighting battles bigger than themselves while trying to find a comfortable space just to exist.
