Next World Champion: Lani Daniels vs Alrie Meleisea (2023)

For the first time in Boxing history, Two New Zealand born boxers will fight for a World boxing title. Former World title contender Lani Daniels will take on two time New Zealand champion Alrie Meleieas for the IBF World heavyweight title. A lot of history being made, not just for two New Zealand born boxers. This is the first time a world title will be contested between Maori and Pasifika as well as the first ever Pasifika female to fight for a world title.
