Regina (2023)

Regina is an upright and straightforward girl. Her world revolves around her father, who is a social activist. However, tragedy strikes her life, when her father gets accidentally killed during an incident. A friend of her father takes her under his wing and soon gets her married to Jo, an employee at a Private bank in Pollachi,Tamilnadu. Regina gets a new lease of life with this marriage and leads a simple but contented life with Jo, in a rented house. Their landlord lives on the ground floor. After many years into the marriage, Regina finally conceives. The couple are avenged. One day, a well planned heist takes place at Jo's bank. When the gang starts attacking the bank staff, Jo intervenes and tries to stop them. One of the gang members brutally attacks and kills Jo. Regina rushes to the hospital as soon as gets the news. Her cries for help are in vain, as Jo is gone forever. Regina's life is shattered, yet again. She spends the days ahead confined in her room, all alone. She walks out one day, without a word, after handing over the keys to the owner. Her whereabouts are not known to anyone.
