The year is 2056 and a group of teachers have gathered over pasta and pesto with a singular mission: solve climate change. Their remit? Come up with an original idea to transform their playground into a nature reserve that allows birds to thrive. Their reward? Government funding for their chronically underfunded department. The catch? They're all in competition with each other - and following a horrifying mistake with last year's A-Level papers, the chemistry teacher is out to steal all of their ideas and clear up her reputation. Centred over the course of one stormy night, the 6 department heads - PE, languages, chemistry, geography, art and maths - attempt to seduce each other into sharing their secret sauce that will help them to win the essential funding. As tensions rise and the tequila flows, the teachers experience a moment of joyful teamwork where they all align on an idea; a vision that appears from nowhere, only to collapse into ruin as they remember their own self interests - and the marking they have to do for the next day. On the day of the competition, the six teachers each step forward to pitch their idea. But who really has the vision to win the 'Schools4Nature' grant and save the world from climate catastrophe?
