Shaurya Saxena was a laughingstock of his college because of his LISP. Students at college would corner and mock him by asking him to pronounce certain words that would sound funny if said by someone with a heavy lisp. Shaina is one of the heads of a group that would look for opportunities to mock him tirelessly and ironically, Shaurya falls for Shaina. As time goes on, slowly this particular group becomes good friends with Shaurya. But regardless, Shaina wouldn't stop mocking him. But Shaurya was helplessly in love with her. One evening Shaina breaks the news of her getting engaged to her childhood friend, Kamal who's based in the US. This comes as a huge blow to Shaurya. After she leaves, Shaurya expresses his dismay at the news which his friends try to make sense of. And that's when Shaurya confesses that he's in love with Shaina and pledges to ask her out to which one of his shocked best friends asks him how he was going to do that with a lisp knowing full well that Shaina is one of the main people who won't stop mocking him for it. Somehow the word spread. Miffed, she promises to humiliate him on the campus in front of the whole college. And that's when she learns of Shaurya's accident. She smiles arrogantly telling people that God was on her side. In the hospital, after a huge surgery, Shaurya learns that he won't be able to stand on his feet at least for 15 days. But Shaurya refuses to give up and rather challenges himself that on the 16th day, he would somehow come to the college and ask Shaina out. This news spread like fire and the students, knowing how hopeless the situation was started betting money on whether Shaurya would come or not, whether he would propose or not, and whether Shaina would accept or not. This again, agitates Shaina more and her hatred towards Shauryakeeps grows. As we move towards the climax, we have the whole college divided into two groups. One, where Shaina pledges to humiliate Shaurya publicly and the other, where Shaurya promises to muster the courage to ask her out in front of everyone.
