Reclaim Black Power (Black Lives Matter Documentary) (2020)

TIME IS NOW. Reclaim Black Power is a grassroots movement established in light of the recent events after the killing of George Floyd in police custody in Minneapolis, Minnesota, alongside as other recent racial incidents including Ahmaud Arbery and Christian Cooper. Uniting Black people across the world to work on rebuilding Black nations, reclaiming their resources and their power in the world. Its core message is to tackle systemic racism and re-establish the identity of Black people through education and economic and cultural empowerment. The movement is founded by a small group of creative Black British young men and women. They are artists, singers, songwriters, and musicians. Feeling frustrated with the protests' lack of direction, and the consistent lack of action after the explosion of chants and marches, they have decided to put matters into their own hands.
