When Jonathan's father, Victor unexpectedly dies in 2045, he decides to purchase a speaker that has his dad's consciousness loaded in it. As time goes by, he struggles to find a meaningful connection with the digital reincarnation, initially blaming it on what he believes to be discrepancies between the AI and Victor's personality. However, an unexpected encounter with his dad's ex-girlfriend, Janice, pushes Jonathan to reexamine his expectations.
