Bullied by classmates and lacking support from his parents, Tim is suspended from school and left at home alone. Rebelling against his mother's instructions, Tim chooses to spend the day with Josh, a mysterious new student in his class. For the first time, Tim seems to have found a friend who accepts him for who he is. However, confusion and heartache soon arise when the boys unexpectedly run into Tim's mom and Tim realizes he may have misinterpreted Josh's feelings towards him.
