Striking Stories (2016)

A short animated documentary film about the miner's strike of the 1980's from the point of view of South Wales miner's wives. The film was animated by young people from the South Wales Valleys and funded by the Arts Council of Wales. The film won Best Film at the Zoom Cymru Awards. The young film-makers spoke to a group of miners' wives about the major industrial action, and their memories provided the foundation for this thought-provoking film.
