Tropico (2009)

One day Gavin wakes up to find that he is trapped in a meaningless life, surrounded by his loser friends Carl and Taylor, who only keep him down. When a breath of fresh air by the name of Melissa blows into town, everything turns upside down, and Gavin's two friends become threatened by the girl who ends up becoming Gavin's love interest. Things get dicey when Gavin tries to end his relationship with his organized crime partner so he can get his life in gear and be with Melissa, but Carl and Taylor will have none of it.
