The Concertgoer (2022)

Director and Screenwriter Gregory Cioffi and Writer-Producer Dennis Pahl join forces once again following their 2018 award-winning short The Museum of Lost Things. This time they meditate on silence and sound, harmony and dissonance, and on what it means to truly grasp the spiritual essence of music. Partly inspired by the internationally acclaimed Talich Quartet and their performances of Shostakovich, The Concertgoer blends the serious and the absurd, illusion and reality, as it explores a couple's mysterious encounter with the oddest classical music lover anyone has ever seen. Renowned Pakistani-American actor and musician Fahad Ahmad leads the cast opposite New York cabaret icon Susan Campanaro (headliner at The Stonewall Inn and The Duplex). Emily Dinova and Gregory Cioffi, who have been portraying Tony and Tina on the national and international tours of Tony n Tina's Wedding for the last 7 years, round out the supporting cast.
