Adam Duvey, Chief Engineer of Programming for TECH-NET, inventors of the ALEXA A.I. controller, lives with his wife Anna in the latest "smart home". They are given the opportunity to test out the next-generation highly-advanced prototype called VIKKI. Anna loves VIKKI's unique human-like programming and interactions, especially when she is home alone...until one night when Adam is away on business. Anna comes home from a girls' night out, and what was supposed to be a normal relaxing evening at home, quickly turns out to be something Anna could have never imagined.
