Life (2022)

In a society where everyone has an expiration date, and the wealthy can buy more time for their loved ones, a family tries to keep their father alive after a pregnancy compromises his safety. At a time when the world is overpopulated and the resources are being hogged by the wealthy, the people have an expiry date. Once your family gets to 5 people, you must sacrifice the oldest to create space for the newborns. Families try their best not to have more young ones as they await nature to take its course but more and more children are born and the old continue to be chemically killed. The wealthy cheat the system by bribery to keep their loved ones alive. Abortion is the highest crime as the young are on demand and the old are dispensable.
