Sons (2023)

Mark has his spiralling personal life interrupted when he receives a phone call from the past. He, and his husband Andrew, must put their marital problems to one side as Mark, for the first time in many years, must return home to visit his estranged, terminally ill mother. When he arrives at his childhood home, Mark's painful attempt to reconnect with his mother is interrupted by a visit from the local priest who has come to give communion. Mark is surprised to recognise the priest as his first love Sean. Mark and Sean are forced to address the choices they have made whilst being confronted by the life they could have lived.
