Skip Day (2023)

Gavin is an ordinary high school freshman who is desperate to outshine his cool Gen X mom by not missing out on the rebellious side of the high school experience known as Skip Day. Gavin invites all of his friends to skip school with him in style by renting out "A Day in LA" tour bus and personal tour guide (Jim) to show them all the cool LA tourist attractions. Along the way Gavin realizes that maybe being cool takes a lot more work than he had anticipated and his friendships might not be as strong as he thought.
