On the verge of closing a deal a with a potential client, young landlord Jesse Thimble discovers that his rival, Terrier, has bought the apartment complex he was bidding for. He calls Terrier, who gloats about his new purchase. In response, Thimble reveals that he just won a bid for a complex in Terrier's territory. After Terrier throws some threats, Thimble reveals that he knows that Terrier has not been paying his luxury tax, and threatens him to report him to the IRS. In anger, Terrier slams down his fist on his desk, completely ruining the Monopoly board game sitting on it. The whole conversation was just about a game of Monopoly. Thimble sits across from him, wondering why he's so mad. Terrier apologizes. However, Thimble still wants the $200 that Terrier owes him for landing on Bowser's Kingdom - causing Terrier to flip board in rage.
