Stain (2021)

Meet Mina who takes over as bread winner in the home when her husband Bomboka is bedridden. Amidst strife, she breaks societal norms when she takes on work in the risky salt mine lake to feed her family and works extra hours to make more cash for her husband's medication. She is presented as a strong, brilliant and resilient mother of one that toils to feed her son and maimed husband. Mina is an instrument of resistance, she is an activist at the grass root who as much as she tolerates her terrible husband, she gets to breaking point and decides to defend herself and her child from the monstrous claws of her once good man.
