Love for Starters (2022)

Interior designer Olivia is on the verge of becoming a partner at a Seattle firm. Meanwhile, her father Peter is about to re-open his lakefront hotel. Peter has recently hired celebrity chef Dax to run the hotel's restaurant. Dax, after being fired from his previous job in New York City, accepted this position as a last resort. Olivia takes time off to help with the re-opening. Peter asks her to work with Dax on the new restaurant, which needs to succeed to ensure the hotel's future. At first, Olivia and Dax completely disagree on the menu and the decor, with Olivia having grown up in a small town and Dax having an upscale city background. Forced to work together on a deadline, they eventually agree to compromise. Olivia and Dax start having fun while designing the restaurant, and the two develop real chemistry with each other. However, Olivia still plans on returning to her job in Seattle, which would bring their new partnership to an end.
