The cultural and political ferment of Modernism in cosmopolitan Glasgow in the 1930's forms the backdrop to this creative portrait of Helen Biggar, which draws on interviews, archival footage, historical events, and her own creative activities (primarily the anti war satire, Hell Unltd from 1936, which she co directed with Norman McLaren.
